From generation to generation: the story of our vineyard in Fitou

A characterful vineyard rooted in its terroir

In the heart of southern France, in the wine village of Fitou, our vineyard covers approximately 12 hectares.

It is a special place where the Mediterranean climate, the landscape, the soil and the work carried out in the vineyard come together to produce grapes with real character.

Most of our vineyard is dedicated to the production of red wine. We grow four grape varieties that are particularly well suited to our terroir: Carignan, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah.

Our vines are mainly planted on schist soils, with some parcels also growing on limestone. This combination of soils contributes to the distinctive character of our wines, bringing together fruit, minerality and freshness.

Careful work, vine by vine

We deliberately work on a relatively small scale, allowing us to keep a close eye on every part of the vineyard.

Throughout the year, we carefully monitor the vines and their development. Working on a human scale also enables us to limit the use of inputs as much as possible and respect the natural balance of the vineyard.

For us, great wine begins in the vineyard.

A family story spanning three generations

Growing grapes has been part of our family history for many years.

My grandfather was the first in the family to work the vines. My father, who was also a restaurateur, was a winemaker in the past as well.

Since 2019, I have taken over the family vineyard and assumed responsibility for continuing this tradition.

Today, we are the third generation of winegrowers in Fitou.

Three generations, one terroir and a shared passion passed down through the family: working with the vines and creating wines that express the character of our region.

The taste of Fitou

Every bottle tells a story. A story of its grape varieties, its soil, the Mediterranean sunshine, the wind and the people who work among the vines.

From the fruit-driven Cuvée Jean Marais and the powerful Les Pipelettes, to the fresh and elegant Lulu rosé and Les Embruns white wine, each cuvée has its own personality.

But they all share one essential connection: they are rooted in the unique terroir of Fitou.

A small-scale vineyard, a three-generation family history and, above all, a genuine passion for vines and wine.
