In this blog, we release the maps for those who want to visit and discover our region to the fullest.

The Pyrenees Orientales is a beautiful region with a lot of diversity: churches, castles, ruins from long-gone times, abbeys, monasteries—we could go on and on.

The three best ways to visit these beautiful buildings, areas, and natural phenomena are by foot, bike, or car. Thanks to the Prades tourist office, we have three maps available for you through this blog.

Couple hiking in the mountains

Hike along the wide variety of hiking trails. Our region offers a wide variety of hiking trails, from short to challenging, long ones. Don't forget to provide for yourself in case someone gets injured or lost. Always bring a backpack with a snack and plenty of water. Also, make sure you wear the right shoes and plan your hiking route carefully.

Cyclist drinking from a water bottle in the forest

Cycling in irresistible nature. Here too, there's a wide selection of cycling routes with different types of sections for regular bikes, racing bikes, and mountain bikes. It's the same story as with hiking: bring adequate supplies, water, a snack, and perhaps a spare tire so you can help yourself.
